Remember hearing about how Hannah was able to fund four beds for the homeless by making and selling fans? Here she is with two of her fans. What a fundraising superstar you are, Hannah!
Today, all pupils are attending on-line safety workshops to learn about how to keep themselves safe when using the internet.
It would be great if parents could ask their children what they have learnt from their workshops and find out if they have any new ways of keeping safe on-line.
The session for parents takes place this afternoon at 5.30pm.
Year 4 are excelling themselves with the quality of home learning that they are handing in. I have been so impressed with the standard and creativity over the last couple of weeks and they should be very proud of their efforts. Jasmine and Csanad produced two very different models for their home learning this week, supporting their science topic of rocks, soils and fossils. Fantastic work!
Thank you to everyone who turned out yesterday for our Open Morning. We hope that you enjoyed your visit and were able to get a really good sense of our curriculum, values and ethos and had your questions answered. It was great to see so many new faces as well as existing members of our school community. If you would like to arrange another visit, please do not hesitate to contact the school office to arrange an appointment.
The parents’ area of the website is where you find important information about how parents can help support their child’s learning; keep up to date with events and news; find out about our school provision (including wrap-around care); and find details about how to get involved in the Bowmansgreen school community.
Information, advice, support and guidance for Hertfordshire parents is available via Families First.
