Safeguarding Committee
At Bowmansgreen, the safety and well-being of our pupils is a key priority, which is why we have established a dedicated Pupil Safeguarding Committee. This committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all children feel secure and protected within the school environment.
The pupils on the Safeguarding Committee had to apply to be Safeguarding Ambassadors. They take an active role in promoting safety and wellbeing among their peers and meet with Mrs Fleming about once a fortnight to discuss everyone’s safety in school. The ambassadors look at current practices, carry out school walkabouts, review any concerns raised by staff or students, and think about actions that they can take which will help everyone feel safe in school.
