Our school mission statement and vision underpin everything we do at Bowmansgreen. We value and celebrate each and every one of our pupils as individuals and get to know them all well enough to personalise their learning experience and pathway to success. We aim to ensure that coming to school is a positive experience for every pupil; we understand that children learn best when they are happy and feel secure and we work hard to make this a reality every day. We teach, promote and model equality and diversity and pro-actively tackle and address issues of inequality or discrimination.
At Bowmansgreen, we actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. These values were first set out by the government in the ‘Prevent’ strategy in 2011. Our curriculum reflects how we promote and embed these values.
