Home + School = Together

We warmly invite all parents/carers to our first information session in the mobile classroom on Tuesday, 26th September at 9 a.m. These sessions will then be held fortnightly, each time discussing a different topic eg; support with reading at home or completing homework with your child, First Aid and Introduction of Forest Schools to Bowmansgreen. Younger siblings are welcome and tea/coffee and biscuits provided. We already have a number of parent governors but would welcome interest from anyone with links to a local family or business or who would like to support the school community. Sports News from Mr Sanders

Bowmansgreen boys played the opening game of the season against a very strong Bernards Heath team on Monday afternoon. With a mixture of Year 5 and 6 boys, it was going to be a tough assignment against a traditionally strong school who were all Year 6s. The game was 3 x 10 minutes and it started badly for the Bowmansgreen lads, as Bernards Heath took the lead after 3 minutes and then took control of the match with another quick 2 goals. Nearly New Uniform Sale

The next ‘nearly new uniform sale’ will be held on Monday, 25th September, outside the mobile classroom (or inside the mobile if it is raining!). All items are 50p, any monies raised to go to FOBS. The children have been very sporty this week and enjoyed many activities with Mr Cropper. All the activities include children from all Years, so everyone has fun!
