Year 6 Performance – Ye-Ha!

We have been thoroughly entertained this week by the year 6 students, supported by the year 4 & 5’s. The performances of Ye-Ha! were amazing and all the time, effort and rehearsals by the staff and students certainly paid off with 2 fabulous performances. D and T Curriculum Evening

Yesterday we held our final curriculum evening of the year which was an opportunity for families to find out about the Design and Technology activities that pupils have been working on this last half-term. It was a fantastic evening and the work on display was amazing! Breakfast Club News

Our Summer Disco was extremely popular with just short of 140 children! We have had a mixed sporting week with tennis, hoops and basketball. Today the “Special Breakfast” was sausages, scrambled egg and beans. Next week we hope the weather will be fine so we can be outside and enjoy the sunshine. See you early on Monday morning at 7.30am. On Monday it will be only 4 more sleeps until we break up!!!!

Congratulations to Mrs Ingham who gave birth to baby Matthew on Friday 30th June. Mother and baby are both doing well although I’m not sure that Matthew was too impressed by our curriculum evening as he slept very peacefully throughout!

This week This week the children finished off their work for the curriculum evening inspired by their trip to Paradise Wildlife Park. It was lovely to see so many children sharing their work with their families. The children enjoyed reading the story ‘Sharing a Shell’, writing about being a good friend and making aquariums out of the construction materials inspired by the school fish tank.
