Remember hearing about how Hannah was able to fund four beds for the homeless by making and selling fans? Here she is with two of her fans. What a fundraising superstar you are, Hannah!

Today, all pupils are attending on-line safety workshops to learn about how to keep themselves safe when using the internet.
It would be great if parents could ask their children what they have learnt from their workshops and find out if they have any new ways of keeping safe on-line.
The session for parents takes place this afternoon at 5.30pm.
Welcome back after the Christmas holidays!
Pupils have returned to school focused and ready to learn.
Monday’s assembly introduced our school value for this half-term: Friendship.
Staff will be looking out for role-models who demonstrate and exemplify good friendship.
Bowmansgreen would like to welcome Miss Chivers who has joined the Year 4 teaching team. We also have a number of new pupils across the school who we are sure will feel happy and valued as part of the Bowmansgreen school community.

What a pleasure it was to watch the Y4 football team play their match this afternoon! Not only did they win their game 4-2 but each and every player gave 100% on the pitch and they played really well as a team. Archie, Max, Harry, Brendon, Lennon, Olivier, Jed and Mikail, you were fantastic – I’m looking forward to the next match!
Year 4 are excelling themselves with the quality of home learning that they are handing in. I have been so impressed with the standard and creativity over the last couple of weeks and they should be very proud of their efforts. Jasmine and Csanad produced two very different models for their home learning this week, supporting their science topic of rocks, soils and fossils. Fantastic work!
Thank you to The Power of One Anti-Bullying show for helping Bowmansgreen to mark National Anti-Bullying Week 2018, focusing on the theme ‘Choose Respect.’ The performance delivered some powerful messages about standing up to bullying, through a series of scenarios and discussions.
Another week of fantastic home learning from our Year 4 pupils. This week they have been learning about conductors and insulators as well as finding out how to create an electrical circuit.
